What is Wikidot Package Installer?
Wikidot Package Installer is a tool created to help improve the steps of installing packages from Packages @ Wikidot. It saves you the time of switching tabs or windows and copying and pasting source from one window to another. There are also guided installation steps to help you understand better how this installation tool works and what you need to do.
How this tool works
This tool is kindly hosted in 
Ed Johnson's site and iframed into this wiki. Our script written in PHP uses functions like preg_replace and preg_match to translate the syntax in the package script into steps and configuration. We then create an textarea where you drag-and-drop the wikidot code into a your wikidot editor embeded in an iframe. Therefore we don't access your cookies and your Wikidot account would be safe from hackers (as long as your computer is protected):-)
